Standardized Testing

Extracurriculars and Leadership

  • Continue participating in or join clubs, sports, arts or other activities
  • Track and complete volunteer hours for Bright Futures
  • Pursue leadership roles in clubs, sports teams or community projects

Planning and Organization

  • Create a college application spreadsheet and timeline
  • Draft essays and request recommendation letters
  • Document academic achievements, extracurriculars, volunteer work and jobs
  • Begin looking for scholarships:
  • Discuss goals, expectations and finances with parents/guardians
  • Build relationships with teachers and counselors
