College and Career Centers

If you attend a public high school, chances are good that you have a dedicated College and Career Center that is brimming with resources and experts to help you research, locate, and acquire a great job.

Traditionally, these offices concentrated only on college counseling, and they remain the best place to go for application and scholarship information. More recently, however, as the state legislature actively promotes workforce education, these centers have taken a more balanced approach.

Pop into your College and Career Center, and you can get help choosing your next steps after graduation. You can talk to a counselor about your best options, take personality and skills inventories, begin a job search, make connections with local alums and business owners, set up an internship, and more! You can find out how to write a resume and how to dress for an interview.

They really do it all.
