Career Centers

All technical and professional schools offer Career Services to their students. These offices are adept at helping you identify potential careers and employers, and many of them can place you in internships or jobs while you’re still in school.

For example, the Motorcycle and Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando has an Early Employment Program that finds part-time jobs for enrolled students, which provides on-site training and experience. Grads are often hired for full-time work, and in many cases, they may be offered reimbursement for their school-related expenses.

Make an appointment at your Career Center for interview advice and practice, resume building workshops, career coaching, and access to massive jobs databases. Their experts can help you find meaningful work both before and after graduation. They’ll even help you organize relocation, in the event that you land your dream job miles away from home!
